We boarded at Amsterdam, everything went smoothly. Into our cabins quickly and able to go for lunch. The ship is beautiful with lots of lovely crew. Our cabin was extremely comfortable and spacious with excellent air control and a good size balcony. The bathroom had a powerful shower with Elemis toiletries. We enjoyed the Pinnacle and Tamarind restaurants along with the Lido and Dutch cafe. The Dining Room offered a good variety of dishes and we loved dressing up on gala nights (although this is optional).

The pool was a nice temperature as were the hot tubs. We had a couple of treatments in the spa and spent most evenings in the BB Kings or Rolling Stone areas. Great fun!

We would definitely recommend Holland America Rotterdam - my daughter who is 19 thoroughly enjoyed her week, she met up with other 18-30 aged passengers and didn't want to leave! Read more
