We did this cruise because we wanted to try a new ship and a new location. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in New Jersey for the park and sail. It was a short ride to the pier. The process to board the ship was very easy. Of course, it helped that we were in the Haven. The room was fine but we really hated the tub/shower combo. We had to get a step stool to get into the shower. In the end, my wife ended up taking her showers in the spa!! The Haven snacks were not as diverse as it was on the Epic. The bartenders were great. Maltings was never crowded. I did do the Macallan tasting which was a great value. I also did the beer tasting. Not worth the money. I was amazed that the Haven bar closed at 1030pm. The food in the Haven restaurant was very good. We ate breakfast there every day and had dinner the first and last day. As for specially restaurants, we did Cagneys (excellent), Ocean Blue (okay - expected so much more), Food Republic (loved it!), and Q (BBQ was very good). We did have lunch at the Local. What a mess. The food was not warm at all. We did not go back. We did not do any of the shows. Elements was cancelled because of the weather (that is what I assume) The comedians were good. We were able to see the Beatles show which was great since we struck out on the Epic. Karaoke was a bust. One hour was not enough. The screen with the words was behind you which is not good if you do not know the words. The game shows were good but of course they were held in the Atrium and like any other huge ship, there is never enough room plus if you are sitting too far back, you cannot see all of the screen. They definitely need more staff! There was not a Martini or Margarita tasting nor was there a Newlywed game! The staff was great throughout the ship. Getting off the ship wasn't too bad. It really helped that we were in the Haven. It was a mess for non-Haven people.

As for Bermuda, the tour around the island was okay. Not really a lot to see. As you can expect, the prices to eat on the island are very high!

We have learned to be very sure we get a room with a walk in shower.

The Haven Forward-facing Villa with Balcony

Nice size room. Right around the corner from the Haven restaurant. Tub/Shower was too high. Bed was really high.
