Iceland was on my bucket list. I also liked the Ireland (Cork) and Scottish (Shetland) ports as well.
We had a rough start with a scorching hot state room ... that would not could down.. I had to be very insistent to finally get someone down to determine that the room was not getting adequate air flow. Our first port was Hallifax, which was nice. A few days at sea... then 3 Icelandic ports... well worth it.
We were then notified that another covid test was required because we were not FULLY vaccinated (There is no booster for the Janssen vaccine) so we had to be tested or for go Shetland islands. We did not get tested...as we had no symptoms. Surprisingly we were told that the day before Shetland an "immigration inspection" was required. We got up at our assigned time... showed our passport and were given "boarding passes" for Scotland. Sooooo it wasn't Scotland after all who made us cancel our shore excursion... it was princess. Maybe they wanted to find the cases on board... which they did. Those who got tested and found positive had tables placed in front of their doors. To add insult to injury, Ireland was cancelled due to rough seas from Tropical storm Alex.
Caring great... but had AC issues first day

Blue lagoon tour was wonderful
