I have been to many cruise vacations of different lengths and different cruise companies, but this is my first tome experiencing something completely different. The check in process is a breeze, took me literally 2 minutes to get my band and everything I needed there forward was on my wrist, technology, waterproof and cruise like stylish. The Virgin application, easy to use, helped tremendously with the checkin process and to make reservations throughout the cruise. Virgin cruise experience was excellent for me. The cruise ship is very modern and classy. The choices of restaurants is great, I was not only able to choose the restaurants but, also the time, nothing like the typical cruise dining with other cruise lines. The food was excellent. You have the choice to dress all up for the evening or to comfortably and casually dress up for the evening, your choice, your way a big plus. No picture night, no captain night, no hassle. There are activities you can choose to participate in, shows at night, but, forget about the "usual" cruise ship shows. Shows get sold out quickly but, nevertheless I didn't missed a show. Here you do as you wish. The cabin is spacious, everything is controlled from the tablet (or not). Superb service everywhere, from cabin stewards to waiters, to all crew, really. The state of the art gym, and the so many areas to just sit back or lay back and relax. Also, adults only was quite the experience to have. To summarize my experience I would say, really fantastic!
