Sail Date: Jul 2022
Cabin: Balcony

We choose this cruise for the inside passage and Glacier Bay. The captain decided to go around Vancouver Island and into the Pacific Ocean which provided for a very rough ride since we ran into a bad storm and the vibration of the ship made for an extremely bad first night for all of us in our aft cabins. We all felt sick despite wearing scope patched...it was just a combination of bad conditions.

Wish we had more time in Juneau since we missed going to Ketchikan altogether....disappointing for us and for our family on their first Alaskan cruise. Skagway was the only port we had the whole day in and we loved the White Pass Railway although it was very foggy and the view was compromised.

Icy Strait point was nothing more than shops and a restaurant with an hour wait and servers that ignored us as we sat at the bar. The donut shop had no less than 50 people on the line at any given time. Poor replacement for Ketchikan.

Cabin Review

Cabin was in good condition except the balcony was worn in places as was the furniture. Of course our cabin steward, Kent Woods Collins was the best and kept everything in tip top shape!
