I was invited on this cruise by family it was my 1st time & I loved it. I would hear people say how small ship was but to me was huge!! The check in process was very smooth, the food was delicious, the best coffee I've ever had. The entertainment was so great. I had so much fun!! Every employee I came in contact with couldn't do enough to make sure I had everything I needed. The energy that the cruise director Tyler had was contagious!! Our room steward Bertrem (not sure of spelling, I lost his card) was so kind & his attention to detail made my cabin so relaxing. I know being my 1st cruise I have nothing to compare it to, but I absolutely loved it & my next one (yes, I'm hooked!) will definitely be with Carnival! Sad to have heard the Ecstasy will no longer sail after October, she may be old & small but I loved exploring every inch of her! Thank you Carnival for making my 1st cruise so memorable!!

Costa Maya
Getting off ship it was beautiful until the shop keepers bombarded me, one man pulled me into his shop & wouldn't let me leave, (niece came & pulled me out). The armed guards stnding around the pool was unnerving. Honestly was not impressed & couldn't get back to ship fast enough.
Cozumel
My 1st time here & it was amazing. So clean and beautiful. We went to Mr Sanchos beach resort & spent most of the day there. For small fee had a beautiful beach, all the delicious food you can eat, all drinks (the best strawberry daiquiri EVER!), spa (reasonable cost), David was our waiter & he took such good care of all 7 of us, drinks never ran dry!! The people of Cozumel were so kind, the shops were great & yes they tried to sell you things but they weren't overbearing, had fun with all of them. And if there were armed military there we did not see them, just a few regular police officers. Such a beautiful relaxing day, loved every minute!!
