Sail Date: Jul 2022

Wife and I and 3 siblings, all over 60, cruised to Scotland, Norway, and Iceland from Southampton England in July 2022. This was our 29th cruise and 7th on Norwegian. We choose our cruises on locations and this one took us to each one in comfortable surroundings. Specifics:

BOARDING: Covid test required 3 days prior for Europe sailings. We tested at home in Florida on Thurs for a Sunday sailing using eMed covid test. After negative tests we departed for airport and London. Spent 2 nice days seeing London then booked private transfer for 5 direct to ship. Arrived 1130 at ship and were onboard in 20 minutes. We had uploaded all required documents with NCL beforehand so checkin was a breeze. Had lunch in OSheehans to avoid crowded buffet and rooms were ready by 1pm. Lifeboat drill is now watching a video in your room and walking to lifeboat station sometime during first day.

CABIN: Had standard balcony cabin, room was okay altho small. I’d book a minisuite next time as space was tight and storage just adequate. Small tv that only played 2 movie channels that repeated old and newish movies. Saw “Easy A” about 5 times lol.
