Had experienced two paddlewheel cruises in the past and was ready to go again. The overall experience was poor this time. The worst of which was the dining experience. The staff that "greeted" us at the front desk of the dining room was rude and obviously didn't want to be there. This wasn't just one time, this was the entire cruise! Once seated, the majority of the dining staff was identical to the "greeters". Once we learned to be seated on one specific area of the dining room, our waitstaff was great. Apparently many figured this out and that area of the dining room was full, so we had to be seated again in the abuse zone of the dining room! Literally no refill of your coffee cup at breakfast if you received any at all! I've never had such poor service especially for the price of these cruises. I did bring this to the attention of management during my cruise. NOTHING changed, I was only give lip service. I truly believe that management is the problem. If they don't care, then how do they expect their staff to care? There are so many other negative issues that we experienced on this cruise and unfortunately, too many to mention. We was so disappointed in this cruise! It makes me sad that travelers spend money for a 5 star experience and are delivered a 1 star experience. I asked the head manager to contact me when he had time while I was on the cruise (second day) and said that I had some things to discuss. He never reached out to me. I'd love to promote this ship and the itinerary, but due to the staff, I can not and it makes me sad. I will say that the entertainment was great!

Being a newly refurbished boat, very nice. Comfortable beds, great heat & A/C. Plenty of storage and living space. The bathrooms were spacious for the size of the boat. No complaints.
