Our group was on the inaugural cruise of the Amadeus MS Queen, loved it and was ready to go again so we did! We've sailed now with multiple cruise lines and have found Luftner's Amadeus line to be a step above. The Amadeus Queen is a state of the art ship with all the amenities you'd expect and more. The crew is amazing and will do what it takes to ensure that you are taken care of in a 5 star way! The chef and dining staff are second to none. One in our group is what we would call a "picky eater", one one occasion I noticed our picky eater having a discussion with his waiter. The next thing I knew, the Chef was at his table. Our picky eater said he preferred steak every night, the chef informed him that he would be happy to serve him steak every night and just to inform his server the night before of his choice so the chef could prepare it for him. Talk about service! Also, on our second morning, some of the bacon was cooked "more" after the servers heard some of our group mention that they liked their bacon crispy! Our entertainment was great and they adapted to the music that we liked and wanted to hear making the evenings fun and extra special. I can't say enough good things about Luftner and the Amadeus line of river cruise ships. In my opinion, they just have that special extra touch that makes them extra special. The Amadeus Queen is superb! We can't wait to sail any of the Amadeus ships in the future!
