Cabin: The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony
My luggage that was damaged from pier to cabin.

I cruised the Breakaway for a week going to Hondurus, Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya and Harvest Caye. The ship was amazing, very clean and everything was beautiful. I had a room in the Haven and that was spectacular. Our Butler Romel was the absolute best one we could have. He was attentive, kind and brought us the most amazing snacks. He was there in minutes when we needed anything at all and we knew we could count on him. The bartender at the Haven bar , Predrag Colovic from Serbia, could not have been friendlier. He made the most delicious drinks each and every time and he made it so enjoyable having drinks because of his amazing personality. The Haven restaurant was on point, each and every meal was as scrumptious as the next. The waiter Ashendra Singh was top notch, I am a left handed woman and he noticed right away and each time he saw us sitting down to eat, he came over and changed my silverware so I would not have to do it. This was the first time IN MY LIFE that anyone showed such attention to detail about my left handedness. I have told so many people about this experience and they were so shocked, some never thought about it but most want to cruise NCL now. The reason for my 3 star rating is that when my luggage went from the pier to the ship it was damaged. I first noticed when it was sitting in front of the cabin and I immediately spoke to housekeeping. They informed me it was not the gentleman who brought it up, which I believe because it looked like it was scraped along the ground. Although each staff member tried their best to rectify the situation, there was nothing they could do. I then received an email saying I was entitled to the most they could give me which was $100.00. I appreciate the money but it is not enough money to replace my luggage. I guess what really upset me the most was that the person who did it,, did not let me know. I am very understanding but was very annoyed that I was not notified, things happen, mistakes happen but when people try to hide it,, its infuriating. The cruise itself was amazing and I will be cruising with them again, I will just have to cover my luggage somehow bc I do not trust the process.
