My Brother and his family had already booked this cruise when my husband and I decided to go. It was the first cruise for our daughter who is 19. Embarkation left a lot to be desired until you actually made it inside. Once inside the lines moved pretty quickly and to be so busy, the customer service was good. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the layout and where your cabin is prior to boarding. Everyone seemed to try and get on the first set they came to instead of moving down the ship causing chaos. Don't waste your money on the snorkel catamaran in the Bahamas. Not sure why Carnival partnered with this group, but it was terrible. They were not friendly, the catamaran probably did not meet code and was sketchy to say the least. Loved Amber Cove and could take or leave Grand Turk.

The Palm for dinner was hit or miss. Our server was Lin and he was awesome. We had a large party so I am sure that did not help. One night when we had rough seas and he dropped something, didn't get it on anyone, but had a look of sheer panic that he was going to be taken out back and thrown off the ship. They are all over worked and we felt so bad for them. Still they were pleasant and the service was good. Honestly if you cannot show grace to anyone working under those conditions stay home.

The Cruise Director Chris "The Flying Scotchman" was amazing! Super nice guy and did one heck of a job. While I am mentioning awesome people I can't leave out Spicy "G" Garry from South Africa. You can find him everywhere. These guys were awesome. I recommend the piano bar and the Punchliner Comedy Club (earlier shows) to avoid the raunchiness. The Panini place is great as well as the Pig and Anchor.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was spacious and fit 3 of us nicely. Our Steward was Sago who was amazing! I would literally search for him if we went again. We had a balcony which I do recommend for privacy with more than 2 people.
