Family Birthday Celebration on NCL Escape - July 2022

We were a family of 11 people .... multigeneration ( grandparents , 4 adult couples and granddaughter ) and this ship accommodated everyone perfectly ! No worries at all, from food to entertainment it was a 6 star experience ! We also had multiple dietary needs , vegan, vegetarian and kosher , and ALL were catered to individually and deliciously ! Kudos to Brendan and Charlotte ( our matre de) and dietary experts , who made sure all the food was delicious and kept with the dietary needs of our group . Even the Shabbat dinner on Friday night had our traditional Challahs all ready for us at our table in the main dining room, , and Kosher wine !!! The splash academy even had night activities till 10 and 11 pm , so the parents could enjoy dinner and a show and then pick up their daughter . She loved the staff there and was always anxious to go. The water parks for both kids and adults ( slides ) were excellent and never crowded. Ropes course for our older kids and the zip line was really a treat for them ! Ports of call ( Croatia , Italy, Greece ) were excellent and leaving and boarding the ship was always easy and efficient . Cleanliness was amazing , and service impeccable... always asking to help and finding solutions to any challenge . Staff was top notch... and did i say that the food was amazing ? Choir on Man was Broadway level entertainment ! Cabins were clean and spacious ( we had a total of 5 balcony cabins ) . Luluk ( our steward ) was always available to bring us ice or fresh towels and even decorated our cabins on my husband and my son's birthdays ! We will definitely cruise on NCL in the future , and my husband and I are already booked on the upscale Oceania line in a few months for an adult cruise for just the two of us.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

We had a balcony cabin ( 15816) and it was wonderful... very quiet . We had 5 cabins in a row , for the family . Balcony was very worthwhile and we watched sunsets and sunrises and loved the views as we approached the ports. Slightly cramped for storing clothes if you bring a lot of items, but otherwise everything was perfect. Bed was SUPER comfortable ,and shower was roomy and great hot water and water pressure .
