We chose this cruise to go with friends. I don't know where it started in the Rhine because we never made it. The second stop however was Cochem. Everything went wrong with this cruise from start to finish and the sensor staff were very unhelpful. The food was good and serving staff amazing but that was all. The ship was always late, missed excursions, we had the sun roof down for most of the trip and they would dock you in the middle of nowhere and tell you to arrange your own taxi into town. I was so miserable on this trip. I would not recommend it to anyone. Stay away from the Rhine and Danube and if you want to do this trip take a coach. Do not recommend Amadeus to anyone. None of the staff were apologetic and nobody wanted to take responsibility for all the things that went wrong. They need to sort themselves out
