My husband and I have cruised over 30 times on many cruise lines, but this was the first time in a full suite. We decided to return to Alaska about a month prior to departure and had booked a mini-suite that we were very familiar with. We have cruised Alaska 3 times in 3 years and knew this cruise would be a relaxing trip, where we could do as much or as little as we wanted since we had been to all the ports. A week prior to leaving we were offered an upgrade promotion and decided to splurge. This cruise will go down in our books as a dream come true.

A full suite entitles you so many additonal ammenties. I'm afraid we have been spoiled beyond belief. We dressed for the first formal dinner and had a boutineere and small corsage waiting for us in our room before we left. The last formal night we decided last minute not to dress up, we had lobster and beef wellington served in our room. We did anytime dining for 3 dinners. Totally enjoyed Sabatini's for dinner on one night. We did several lunches at the pizza bar around the pool. We took advantage of the double wide balcony and did most of our viewing from our room's veranda, although we did go up top for the glacier viewing. The room itself was about 3 times the size of a regular room.

The weather was the best we have had on any cruise. People actually laying by the pool on several days. The glacier day was fabulous and the naturalist made it even better with his narration. Alaska has such a different feel with all the natural beauty and tranquility. Princess just refurbished and remodeled this ship and the additions are beautiful.
