While the itinerary for this cruise is top notch, there is a lot that is really lacking luster. Everywhere you look on this ship, there is wear and tear - the carpets, the railings, the windows. It's a combination of cleaning (They have not been as diligent about cleaning the exterior windows it seems) and maintenance (fresh coats of paint needed everywhere). It's a weird thing to note but they were always so good about changing the day of the week plates in the elevators and this was not the case on this trip. Additionally you could tell that there were staffing issues, either by needing volume or more training. Bars at the pool decks were crushed on departure and at sea days and couldn't keep up. Service in the main dining room was disappointing - took a long time to get drinks, took a long time to get greeted when we were sat and to get bread and water to the table. Ship ran out of pool deck towels frequently. Our stateroom attendants were top notch and we had good experiences with the few Guest Services desk interactions we had. The ship off and onboarding at ports was efficient and good as well. Lastly, this was by far our best check in and check out experience we've ever had in ports, so big kudos to RC for working on that.

Cabin Review

We had an interior and an obstructed view balcony. Both rooms were spacious but again, wear and tear everywhere. Mirrors are chipped on the edges, drawers are squeaky and sticky. Couch cushions are too soft and worn. Balcony railing is rusty and worn and balcony windows are cloudy and dingy.
