July Seattle to Alaska Cruise, purchase through Costco.

This proved not to be a good experience for me or my teenage daughters. The food was fine, and was the main "activity" on this boat. There are two water slides, which the girls tried day one before leaving Seattle. They had to butt scoot. They don't really slide. Then otherwise too cold to use. Main pool area has smoking section. Which for us a negative. Deck three which is the walk around the boat area always had smoking staff. Scheduled activities really poor. Including bean bag toss, bingo, scavenger hunt and presentations to sell you stuff: excursions or art. People paying hundreds of dollars for their excursions were the only ones that got to see the glacier in Tracy Arm, while the rest of the boat parked 6 miles away and waited while they were shuttled back and forth. In Juneau we were not docked, but needed to be shuttled into town. Passengers on their paid excursions were given priority over those that got up at 6am and waited in line to get a timed ticket to shuttle to shore. Leaving very little time in port for everyone else. Once you are on this boat, you cannot decide you want to be done, disembarking before you are back in Seattle with-out them charging you $800 per person. "Jones law" We were prevented from leaving the boat by staff guarding the elevator in Juneau for this reason. US citizen’s not allowed to disembark in Alaska. The Alaska cruise does not do the inside passage, but is on open ocean for the bulk of this trip. No good activities, No glacier. No option to bail. Do not recommend, will never again cruise this line.
