Main Dining - We have always chosen My Time Dining because of the flexibility and I am the person that may be hungry at 5pm or 9pm depending on the day. My partner has filed the complaint with my stomach many times. On this cruise by the time we boarded at 1:00pm there were no MTD reservations available until after 8:00pm even if you wanted to plan your dining around shows and other activities. We did what we usually do and just strolled into the dining room when we got hungry on the first night. This was cruise #39 for me so I am used to a wait for a table (10-15 minutes) during the busy times. First night it was 47 minutes from the time we got in line until we were seated. It only went downhill from there folks.

Windjammer - The Windjammer Marketplace aka the buffet typically serves similar dishes to what is in the Main Dining Room plus an array of other items. Somethings you just don't want from under a heat lamp but if you are hungry and don't want to wait for My Time Dining (which really isn't My Time Dining if you are waiting up to an hour for a table) it can be a solid option. The Indian and vegetarian options in the Windjammer are always great and appealing.

Shows - Boy was this a surprise, you can't book anything until you are on board and the app is glitchy...We had to wait in line to book for almost an hour and when we finally got to the front of the line they had cancelled all showings of Mamma Mia for our sailing and made no mention of it until you are ready to book and can't find it. NO explanation was provided but the rumor was that the cast all had COVID and there is no back up plan. The rest of the "Headliner" shows were mediocre at best...a guy who may have been performing in Vegas when I was born in the 70's and a comedian that just couldn't land a joke. The cruise director was MIA for most of the cruise and should have been putting together a plan to entertain people for 8 nights.

Cabin Review

We had an extended balcony cabin and it was clean and everything was in order. The cabin steward was amazing as always. My only note here is that there was so much room on the balcony and only the standard 2 chairs and small table. We would have appreciated a lounger or something being added out there.

Port Reviews

Aruba

We love Aruba, the port is cute and there are plenty of things to do within walking distance.
