PROS- Beautiful Scenery and the first time in years all of our extended family was together.

That being said, there were quite a few cons. Food: Mediocre at best. Every meal had the same basic options in the buffet. Mamba's Mexican Specialty restaurant was not worth the extra money. Le Bistro was amazing. La Cucina was the quality of food I expected on a cruise, but I don't think it should require a surcharge. Room service took forever, only used it twice, because one time they never brought the food and had no record of it. Person who answered the phone did not speak English very well and seemed to be back in the kitchen it was so noisy. Service: horrible. The automatic tipping of $12/day is not getting to the right people (an employee told me their staffing was cut and so was their pay when this went into effect) so there is no incentive. Drinks at specialty restaurants went unfilled, even at Le Bistro we had to pour our own wine, and sit with empty water glasses... Activities: You ate, or gambled. If you were under the age of 50, you were out of luck. Everything seemed to be geared towards seniors, even though I saw a lot of younger patrons. Musicians and comedy seemed amateurish, only saving grace was Sharkbait juggling show.

May not cruise again, but if I do, it definitely won't be with NCL. Way overpriced for what it is...

You could hear anything in the Stardust theatre through the floors... luckily the ship basically shut down at 10 pm.
