We wanted to try cruising on one of the new larger ships. This cruise had been postponed a couple of times due to Covid, so we were delighted to get on board. Parking with CPS and embarkation were a breeze.

We were in a conservatory mini-suite on deck 9: we decided to avoid the controversial cabins on Deck 8. The cabin was clean and well-appointed although we did think that storage could be considered limited. This was not a problem for us as we do travel lighter than many folk, judging by the number of suitcases we see other parties checking in! We did not find the narrowness of the cabins to be a problem and our cabin had the sofa next to the wardrobe so access was not that much of a problem. The conservatory was a nice feature. We saw our cabin steward quite frequently and the cabin was kept very clean.

Overall the ship was truly beautiful, with its spectacular glass atrium, although we were not sure we would like to dine in
