The Allure is a beautiful ship! Great, helpful and happy personnel work on this ship. They were very excited to be back to cruising and it showed. We enjoyed delicious food in all of the restaurants and experienced great service with a smile. Sadly for us, we came home infected with COVID, despite being double vaccinated and boosted. We had not cruised since 2019 and we were very excited about cruising again. Despite sickness, we do not regret this wonderful experience.

Dined in MDR Deck 3 Anytime Dining. Service was excellent, and food was delicious and plentiful. Dined at Samba Grill, awesome experience, food was scrumptious. Dined at Sabor's, another great experience, food was delicious! The staff at all of the restaurants, including the Windjammer, went above and beyond to make sure everything was to your liking and couldn't have been more delighted to have us on board.

Solarium pool was ridiculously too small, and the people drinking decided to spend the whole afternoon in it. And that was the same for the main pools, way to small and yes, the water was murky from everyone's sunscreen coming off in the water. If I had to pick the main problem with this ship, it would be the size of the pool areas. On the flip side, our grandchildren (ages 11-18) had plenty to do to keep busy and happy. Allure's layout needs some tweaking, but I think the Allure is due for what RC is calling their amplifications, but because of COVID they weren't able to do the work, and no date has been set for it.

Cabin Review

Ocean View with Large Balcony

Very comfortable balcony room. Nice size balcony. Good size bathroom. Plenty of storage area in cabin. Brought large magnetic hooks to hang swimsuits, hats, etc. in our room. Our room steward, Janno, was very professional and personable, always greeting us with a smile! He kept everything spotless! He knew everything we needed even before we asked for it.

Port Reviews

Labadee

Royal Caribbean needs to do a better job with this port. Sad, kind of pathetic stepchild to CoCo Cay. RC needs to invest some money in the infrastructure and make it more upscale.

Aruba

Arranged our own catamaran snorkeling trip with "Octopus Aruba". Great company with beautiful boat and a great crew, outstanding snorkeling spots! Shopping not so impressed. Arranged our own transportation using Aruba's public buses, great way to get around!
