Having traveled to over 100 countries for business and leisure, chose this cruise to experience a part of the world previously not explored. Overall experience was excellent. Avalon commitment to high quality was evident in all parts of the vacation - from pre/post information and care, to choice of hotels, local guides and upkeep, services and dining on the ship. Visits were good to exceptional. Only complaint is that much of the local commentary, especially concerning histories, became redundant, and would have liked more free time in some areas.

Transylvania extension was very well planned and organized, and necessary to reach a comprehensive understanding about the history and culture of Romania.

Avalon Passion has been exceptionally maintained, crew and staff work very well as a team and are extremely customer oriented.

Cabin Review

Panorama Suite with French Balcony

Cabin space was adequate. Bathroom/shower above average space. Liked bed comfort and configuration facing outward (toward river). Very nice panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows can be opened for balcony feel.
