The employees of the Scenic Amber were nothing short of amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us. From the moment we boarded the ship, they pampered us. Our cruise director, Cathy was so energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and available. The restaurant and bar staff, especially Michael, Sandy, Alex, Aleksandar, Katerina, Viktorya, and Andrei were so professional, friendly and hard working. And Nemanja, the hotel (ship) manager was super helpful and always ensured I was taken care of getting on and off the ship with my mobility issues. We felt we were in the lap of luxury. The cabin was spacious and spotless every time we went in. I wish I remembered our cabin steward’s name to thank him publicly too! We had a personal butler, Christina who was so sweet and accommodating. They even do a small bag of laundry for you during the cruise!

The food was nothing short of 5 star with the presentation being impeccable. The ship itself shined and was kept spotless at all times. No dishes or drinks were left to sit around. It is certainly the little things that brought this cruise from great to exceptional. They did it all so well. The included excursions were great. Something for everyone and Cathy and Marianna were able to provide a lot of details and advice on what we’d be doing. Nightly briefings before dinner really helped us all stay on track.

I should mention that our ship was only 1/2 full for our sailing, so only about 85 out of a max 163 passengers. So we never felt crowded and again, the personal attention was amazing. Read more
