We chose this cruise because we wanted to see some new cultures and islands with our kids and experience being on a cruise ship. The staff, food, entertainment were all wonderful. The part that felt misleading was the fact that we had no interaction with any of the cultures of the Islands we visited directly. Royal Caribbean only takes you to the parts of the Island that they have rented or created for their cruise ship and you don't leave that territory. you eat the food that they bring for you from the ship and you do that activities they have set up for you. We even paid for a "village tour" in Haiti in the hopes of visiting a local village, however we only saw an area that was set up for tourists to learn about Haitian life. The tour guide was wonderful and taught us a lot, but we were still stuck on a Royal part of the island and paid a lot of money to do this tour. If you are hoping to learn and see more of other cultures this is definitely not for you.

Labadee

There was not much to do in Labadee. It was just a huge pool with lots and lots of drunk people drinking ALL DAY LONG or a very over priced water park $150/person. No interaction with any of Haitian culture
