We wanted to experience a smaller, more personal cruise experience than previously had on a large cruise ship, This cruise was everything we could have wished for & more. The ship was immaculate, the service was exceptional & the route taken was full of interest & beauty. Although the cabins were fairly compact, there was plenty of storage & the cabin service was of a really high standard. The restaurant & bar service were amazing as well - nothing was too much to ask & although everything felt quite luxurious, the staff were really courteous & friendly as well - there was no stuffiness at all & the crew were like a family on the ship, who made us feel part of that family. It was wonderful.

Regarding the excursions, the buses & drivers felt like part of the family & the Emerald guides were knowledgeable & always helpful. The local guide system on outings was very efficient as well, using Emerald communication devices, which were completely reliable.

Overall we had an amazing week & I would recommend Emerald Cruises to anybody looking for a luxurious but relaxed experience, with service second to none. Read more
