Traveled with children

I went with my sister and her son trying to have a great summer get away with all the kids. I feel like this was a waste of good earned money. We had not been anywhere since COVID and was trying to have some fun. The kids were so bored I had to spend additional money for Wi-Fi on a daily basis. The food was horrible and did not taste fresh. If it was not for the pizza my kids would have starved. We had to wait each night an additional 30 minutes for dinner even though we had a dining time that started at 8pm. I only went to dinner to have something to do because the food there was horrible also. The entertainment sucked. This ship should only be for adults over 65 and kids under 5. The pool was so small and packed that you could only find a place and just sit in the water. I don’t care about the ship being older but it could have been fun and clean. We slept most of the trip but it was very uncomfortable because the rooms were HOT. The maintenance man came every night and pulled something down from the ceiling but that never helped. We were so happy to dock in Mexico just to get off the boat. The only thing I can say good about this cruise was our guy that cleaned our room was very nice and attentive. Again waste of hard earned money. I have to take my kids on another trip because this one was not it. We had kids ages 6,12,16 & and my daughter 18 that just graduated from high school and this trip was apart of her graduation present. I have been on 4 other cruises before this one and this was by far the worst. It was so bad that I really want my money back. I feel robbed.
