We had travelled the Danube before with Emerald which prompted us to choose the Rhine cruise. The cruise ships were both excellent with superb service by all the staff and crew. The included trips were also well planned and well worth the money. The tour guides were well informed and the tours were very interesting.

The one big complaint we all had was the travel arrangements getting to the ship. We decided to travel by train from St Pancras through Paris to Strasbourg then on to Basel. The tickets were supplied only travelling to Mulhouse Ville which is 30Km short of Basel. There was nobody to transfer us to the ship and we had to hire two taxis, the drivers not aware of the location of the cruise ships in Basel. We eventually found the information as to where the cruise ships were and arrived just in time for the dinner.

My other complaint is that we were sent old information leaflets prior to leaving for the cruise and were not well served by the booking staff. Read more
