My cousin and I did this cruise this past March and if you've ever wanted to see Egypt, a river cruise is the way to go. First the amazing part, the people. Our Egyptologist was Ayman and he brought Egypt to life. We would have had no idea what we were looking at without him. It was overwhelming at times because there was so much to see, but it was phenomenal. The next best was the crew on the ship. They were so welcoming and dedicated to make sure we had a wonderful time. Everyone was constantly asking what they could do for us and it was just wonderful having them. The food was very good on the ship. I'm kind of picky and don't like to try new things, but I found it all delicious.
One thing to keep in mind is that this ship is in their exotic collection. We didn't know what that meant, but apparently these ships are run by the locals not Uniworld, so you will notice some differences. Little things that Uniworld does doesn't happen here. Drinks aren't included, which they did tell us upfront. We did several all day excursions in Cairo that went until 4:00 or after with no stop or food available. If you have blood sugar issues make sure to bring something on those. Almost all the excursions were extra, which normally they're included. It just felt a little like you were being nickel and dimed a lot.
The Four Seasons was phenomenal. The people there were so nice. Many nice eating options, the bar on the second floor overlooking the Nile and a restaurant. They all seemed really happy for us to be there.
