British Isles Cruise - the one where Princess cuts costs at every possible place! I think there should be a law against saying it stops at say Dublin for example and then you have to find you way there at extra cost because your miles away. You need to factor extra spends such as £10 to Edinburgh, $20 le Harve, £13 Belfast, Dublin around £6 , Glasgow not sure as booked a tour here, same in Cork. Plus there’s 3 nice choppy tenders!
My companion is gluten free and if you are please be aware of very limited choices available to you especially in Buffett and International Cafe - so poor we were making supermarket stops in port! First cruise we have ever had to do this - at least didn’t put on weight lol! The food generally in the buffet was the worst I have ever experienced- same, same, boring same! If you want cereal at breakfast fruit loops will be your new fave - Lovely - I think not. They had run out of cornflakes half way through cruise! We had a great head waiter in MDR who was very helpful regarding gluten free issues, but she was the exception.
Covid is rife on board - hand sanitizers appeared by lifts halfway through.
Brilliant stop, right into the heart of the city.
Went to Titanic Museum- £10 taxi each way. Waste of money, plus it was overcrowded overpriced £21, no air - if you haven’t caught Covid you will here.
Don’t stay in Cobh there’s nothing here.
Choose what sights you want to see beforehand it’s a very busy place
Did a tour (not Princess) Sterling castle, very good
Nice little place get some shopping done
Stayed in the little town - yes free shuttle! Limited but we enjoyed our walk around
Bus waiting to take you to Edinburgh £10 return.
Le Harve - Paris is miles away. $20 shuttle charge - rip off - shopping day.
