Celebrity just knows how to run a cruise ship. Service was uniformly excellent in all venues. The ship is kept in great shape. COVID protocols were strong. No smoking in the casino. Food venues are all excellent, in particular the Spa Cafe. I would say the food overall was not spectacular but consistently good. Some more variety would have been nice (we were excited to see the hummus bar at lunch on the first day; I did not realize it would be the same every day of the cruise). More healthy options (esp. plant-based) would help. Salads at Spa Cafe are awesome. Buffet food was high quality, albeit repetitive and uninspired. We sailed with 2,550 passengers but it did not feel crowded. Celebrity does a good job of keeping the wait times down throughout the ship, especially at the buffet, mainly by just having extra staff to handle the extra crowds. The entertainment staff were excellent, led by cruise director Pete who seemed to be everywhere. The silent disco was a hit. Captain Matt also was hilarious and mixed in with the passengers more than probably any other captain we have seen (except maybe Captain Kate?) The shows were adequate -- not anywhere close to the spectacles on Edge and Apex. We did not care much for the bands and guitarists on board. The ship orchestra, though, was excellent, in particular the brass section. Overall we had a great, relaxing, luxurious cruise, with the level of service we have come to expect from Celebrity. We will definitely be back.
