The ship is huge and there are a LOT of people on board. I wished I had realized the following~

1.) As soon as you board (or before if you can figure out how.....because I could not), book your shows and book your specialty restaurants. If you buy a specialty restaurant "package" you are not allowed to pre-select a restaurant, date and time.

2.) I did know to do the above, and I asked the lady taking my reservations if I needed to pre-book anything else. She said no.....WRONG answer! You need to pre-book comedy shows and things like the escape room. We wanted to do the escape room, and could not get in. The comedy show we stood in a line for people who didn't have tickets and got in every time, but we got in that line early, and the line behind us was huge, so I imagine a lot of people did not get in.

Cabin Review

Balcony cabin was pretty standard for a cruise ship. There are two different layouts, and everyone in our party agreed they liked the layout where you walk into the cabin and the sofa is first and the bed is next. The other layout where the bed is the first thing in the room feels much more "cramped", even though the actual space is the same.

Port Reviews

Nassau

In Nassau we went to Peral Island. We LOVED it there. You took a small boat to the island directly from the cruise port. The island itself is not overly huge, but we really enjoyed the beach and the water. They had snorkling where you swam out to a reef directly off the island. The people who worked there were super friendly and clearly enjoyed hosting all of us. They served a good chicken lunch, but they limit the chicken to one per person, so if you have a very big appetite, bring a snack!

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Really - SUCH a fun place! The sand at the beach, I'm told, had the consistency of mashed potatoes. It disturbed our group enough that we migrated to the large pool. It was a great move! We had a great time listening to the music, watching the people and just enjoying the area. We could have ported there for 3 days and been happy to do just that!

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Unless you have never seen the ocean, skip this port! Ron John's has good shopping if you need something beachey, otherwise STAY ON THE SHIP!!!!!!!
