let us begin with boarding, simple straight forward, from arriving at the dock to actually boarding it took no more than 30 minutes, we were on ship having lunch and first cocktail.Our first night was having dinner in La terrazza, food was excellent, house wines were in our opinion for the entire cruise excellent, we have owned a restaurant in Sydney for 15 years, so have good understanding of the wines on board, we were amazed at the quality of the wine used.We ate at LA Dame twice, here the service, the food quality and presentation were outstanding! Silver note was our favourite though, we had 3 special nights there dancing, listening to the jazz duo play some great music, what a special venue this is, music ,dancing, best food, great wines, wow! There reputation for best pizzas at sea well and truly justified, we have cruised on Oceania and Silversea's food in my opinion just as good.

Service was always very good, we wanted for nothing, within seconds of turning up for any bar someone had taken our drinks order, every afternoon snacks were served in all bars, she also has her own cafe where good coffee and tea are served all day with a large variety of finger sandwiches and cakes.

We took advantage of our butler to run the most exotic baths with candlelight, bath salts and fragrances, deliver us caviar and champagne to our balcony, have my wife dresses steamed and my suits pressed for formal nights.Our Butler ROSEY was great. Read more
