I had a Mediterranean Cruise booked in May that we missed because our flight out of JFK to Rome was delayed over 6 hours. Rather than go through a nightmare like that again we chose a 7 day cruise out of Port Liberty (which was only a couple of hours drive from us) to Bermuda on the Summit

We had only booked 4 days before the cruise so the only available check in time was in the afternoon but our driver could only pick us up at 8AM. Celebrity was very gracious and checked us in shortly after we arrived at the pier. It was an easy process.

Everything on the ship went smoothly. The crew was fantastic. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The crew was always masked but few passengers chose to wear masks. The food was options were good and always available. But the main dining room food was not up to the standard we remembered from previous Celebrity Cruises. We weren’t surprised because our last cruise on Celebrity was a Baltic cruise in 2016.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

We were on the sixth floor in the very beginning of the aft portion of the ship. Our cabin was well maintained and comfortable. And not a long walk from the midship elevator. The veranda was a good size and private. There were plenty of hangers in closet, drawers and shelf space.
