We loved the Viking Danube river cruise we went on in May 2018 and chose the 7 night Ancient Mediterranean Cruise as our first post-COVID cruise. Although we felt overwhelmed by the long airport check-in lines we got to Athens and checked in the Viking Sky after nose swabs. Thanks to Viking hosts at Athens our embarkation went without a hitch.

Our portside aft deluxe verandah #3068 was immaculately clean and the house keeping staff refreshed it every time we were out. We spent early mornings and afternoon free time enjoying the blue sea and watching the pilot get into our ship and guide it to port!

The room service breakfast was on time and fresh juice and eggs and toast were appreciated. The world cafe and restaurant were average. The one time we tried Manfredi's was a big disappointment. The officer served Greek and Turkish food nights were okay but no officers seemed to mix with cruisers. Street food was better.

Cabin Review

Clean , spacious and comfortable.
