Left Port Canaveral heading to Nassau and hurricane Frances. The waves were large but rolling on the way. At dinner we watched waves 10-12ft come towards ship and felt the roll. Water in glasses was tipping and you could look across the dining room to see the other side go up and then down. The shows were good not great, but considering the rough water most of the dancers stayed on their feet, sorta. Several times during the show one or two would fall over. Walking was a feat with everyone acting like they are drunk. I did see several that walked straight but figured they were drunk...
Cabin upper 233 was equipped for 4. We had our two kids along age 10-6 girls. they loved the upper bunks, except Thurs. night with rough water. Storage was good and empty bag slid under beds for more floor space. Speaking of beds the two twins pushed together was tough to sleep on. I wound up in the crack face down and stuck several times. All the cabin doors looked alike so you had to look at numbers on door.
Was only able to spend 2 hrs in Nassau as we had to leave early due to storm. Ship left and headed to Key West area along with several other ships we could see on the horizon. Had to dock in Port Everglades and be bused 4 hrs back to PC through some of the hardest hit areas in both hurricanes to come ashore on east cost of Florida.
