Hi, My wife and I have been on 7 cruises in the last 7 years. 6 of them with NCL. First of all the embarkment was easy and quick. When we got on the boat, their was no champagne welcome, as in other years. I used to like that. We got to our cabin alright, and it was very nice. We went to Cagney's, and had the 10 ounce filet mignon, and it was delicious. The side dishes were skimpy, so order a few for a normal meal. The desserts were also very small portions. When we go there we went to Snorkel beach. It was five dollars to get in, and 15 dollars to rent a chair. It was not worth it. The water was very rocky, and difficult to walk in, even with water shoes. They should fix that. We got the three day ferry pass , which includes the pink buses, for about 28 dollars. Hamilton was very nice. They have a festival on Wednesday evenings, but that was a little disappointing. It was small. The native dancing was nice though.
Back to the ship, The pool gets very crowded. We sat in a Quiet Zone, but it was not very quiet. We complained to the waiter, but he offered no help. Two drunken men were screaming in the hot tub, while people were trying to read, or sleep. Everyone was telling them to shut up. A fight almost happened . The children are running around unsupervised. They were in "adults only "hot tub. Diving off the bandstand.
The Impressions restaurant was terrible. The pasta was extremely undercooked, and I told the manager. He brought me another plate, and it was the same. It could have been cooked about another 10 minutes. That also went in the trash. The food was better at the free buffet. At least you can see what you are getting beforehand.
11576. Extremely small toilet area. A person over 200 lbs. has a tight fit. The divider should be removed . Balcony was nice.
