This was my 7th cruise on silversea cruises my first on this ship. The ship itself is is elegant, comfortable and like others I have sailed on aesthetically pleasing. The cabin was excellent and well serviced.
The food in its main restaurant atlantide offered a poor selection and very unpredictable quality. The service at times was worse than shocking, however the staff did their best in what for them must have been trying circumstances. They are obviously back to near full capacity but have not enough staff to cope with the pressures this brings. Covid is obviously is taking its toll.
I have had some wonderful cruises with this line and have raved about the product. However this particular experience was a different story altogether, so much so I changed my mind whilst onboard about booking a future cruise. Attention to detail seems to have gone out the door and if they don’t up their service game and food choices they might find loyal customers choosing another option. BTW their signature dining outlet La Dame is not worth the premium and their spa prices extortionate
