Our Alaska Cruise aboard the Grand Princess was Excellent. I was concerned about some of the negative reviews I read before the cruise about the Grand Princess. However, after spending a week on the ship I must say those people must just like to be negative about everything. Our experience was great. The ship is older but has been refurnished and it was up to Princess standards. This was our sixth cruise with Princess and it was one of the best experiences we have had. The cabins were clean and nice, we had a balcony B246 and it was super. Dining was great and the service on the ship was top notch.

We had a cruisetour to Denali before getting on the ship at Whitter and then had seven relaxing days with a great itinerary and getting off the ship at Vancouver. Princess had embarking and disembarking down to a science. Our bags went straight through to the Hotel on arrival and to the airport on leaving.

I definitely work recommend the Grand Princess as it is a some what smaller ship and it is not a long walk to get anywhere on the ship.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We had cabin B246 and it was a balcony. Very clean and the room steward was excellent. Quite and a good view from this location. It is somewhat covered and does overlook the balconies on floor 9 and 10 below.
