I chose this cruise for a weekend girls trip. This would be my fifth time on the Norwegian Sky sailing to Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay. Unfortunately, this cruise isn't what it used to be. In the past, they had performances with dancing and singing. Now it's just a few small performances in bars, no dancers.

We had to skip the private island because of weather. This is a tender port, so book a Norwegian cruise expecting not to go to the island even if it's on the itinerary.

Norwegian Sky used to be open bar, but that's no longer the case. On previous trips, you would go up to the bar and order your drink. Done. Now they have to run your room card , print out a receipt, and you sign. I know this is normally the case at a bar, but on a ship this small, it takes forever to get a drink.
