The Viking Buri was as exceptional as other river cruises we have taken with Viking. I was amazed at the number and quality of Roman ruins along the river--so much amazing history that we rarely hear about. When one inland trip wasn't available the tour organized an evening walk through one of the most complete medieval towns, almost all in darkness--it was spectacular. Really enjoyed the history, the natural beauty and of course, the food! We had a marvelous server, funny, and so responsive to our requests.

Our flights had been seriously delayed, and we weren't able to get to the ship until midnight before the departure. Were afraid they would set sail before we could arrive. But the staff was all there, welcoming us as if we arrived on time. Lovely, and it creates a sense of trust. All Covid testing was dine simply w/noninvasive supplies, making it easy to complete requirements to re-enter the US. It was a fabulous trip, and we will definitely work with Viking again!
