This was our fourth cruise with Emerald and we were not disappointed. The staff were superb, attending to our every needs with politeness and courtesy. The food and drink also could not be faulted. We visited some delightful towns and cities along the Rhine, all of them with history and the tour guides in these places were very knowledgeable.

The bar and dining staff worked extremely hard, as did the Captain, Head Chef, Activities Manager and Tour Manager. All of them cannot be complimented enough for their hard work and dedication.

It was mainly a mix of 3 nationalities, Canadians, Americans and British. Not forgetting Marlene, the sole Australian. We all got on very well and we made some real good friendships throughout the cruise. Read more
