Cabin: Spacious Ocean View Balcony

After researching cruise lines, ships, and itineraries, I chose this cruise as I was traveling with my 20-something daughter and wanted a younger-feeling crowd. In the end, that didn't matter as the only place on the ship where people gathered was the pool and karaoke. Otherwise, the crowd wasn't noticeable and there were just small interactions here & there.

Our stateroom was nice. Yes, it could use an update, but we had a rear stateroom so the balcony was larger and we had some beautiful views in port. We had twin beds that were actually spacious, with a firm mattress. We weren't in the room much, the bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of room for the two of us. Our cabin attendant was also very nice and always remembered our names.

Guest services was friendly but not always helpful. The people at the main desk were great, but those helping on the side were completely ineffective. I made specialty dining reservations with the person at the dining podium on the first day. Turns out, she never made them. Several of us needed assistance with Voom. The crew member promised a refund. Never happened and Guest Services couldn't do it for some reason. I called one night for a wake-up call because the automated line wasn't working. No call received. Another time I used the automated line, and again no call received. (I like to use wake-up calls for backup in case my phone alarm fails.) All in all, a super frustrating experience.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

The cabin was big enough for the two of us, but if one of was a larger adult, the shower would have been awkward, as would the space between the bed and desk. Since it was a rear room, the views from the balcony were fabulous.
