We had to cancel an earlier cruise on Azamara due to Covid and this was a last minute getaway. We were pleasantly surprised to be on the ship by noon considering our embarkation time was 1pm. P&O had plenty of staff at the airport and the cruise terminal.

It was great that we were under cover and cool whilst waiting as temperatures were very high. The ship was clean and our room on deck 9 very spacious.

There is a lack of vegetables in the main dining room ,we were warned that green beans are served on every meal regardless of what you order. I did miss a choice of vegetables. The staff in both dining rooms are run off their feet as both MDR are full due to all the speciality restaurants bar the beach house are closed .This was a great disappointment as we like variety .we did try the beach house and it was fine .We think the newly trained staff are being used in dining room on deck 5 as one night we ordered croquette’s and we’re served them 3 times but not the soup we requested.

Cabin Review
