Embarcation at Bayonne was tedious.. Previous embarcations had special considerations for Captains Club Membership... Not this time.... Only Suites were given special attention. We were taken out of the cue because I was riding a mobility scooter and given extra attention because of that.. Covid paperwork requirements also slowed the process.. (undertandably)... in General, having been upgraded to a Family Veranda after winning a cash Bid, our accomodation was outstanding--- and our cabin attendant great...
Cafe food was on a par with middle of the road US roadside buffet fare.... Not the food we were accustomed to. on previous Celebrity Cruises.... (we are Select Members). Balogna subs on the buffet and Beans and Franks on last nights Main dining room menu were insulting to Celebrity's reputation. Left you wondering when they were going to serve the Spam.. Notwithstanding the poor food quality, the staff in both areas were helpful... Drink service in the dinning venues was slow and staff appeared to need more help..
