This is a long awaited recruise from the March pandemic fraud. We were in fiesta 309 and hed a repeat suite for the week. First the service is beyond comparison, the staff has the task of interfacing with the cruise guest and explaining why the cutbacks in areas that could be trimmed. What management appears to not understand is that the difference between me spending $5000 for a week with princess or going Celebrity for thesame money are the "hidden cutbacks that a repeat customer notices everyday. The shrimp are embarassing and the menus do not reflect the treemendous shrinkage of size, quality and food plating. C'mon guys do you think we are simply not cuisine savy? The service staff is stretched out and the "pandemic" is the service desk answer to a;l their issues. The air conditioning issue in the cabins is a disaster. The cycling oof chilled air is now metered to save electric dollars. The pool staff bar is a group of drink makers under stress and do not interact as a person making a vacation memory on drink at a time. The Salty Grill food preparing prceedure is Broken. The staff do Not know what they are doing and it is very evident they had zero real kitchen experience. It was like a 7 year old making dad his lunch for the first time at Father's Day. This being our 9th Princess cruise we have been beaten down on the ""Princess Experience" by the management cutbacks and the hiding of the reality from the questioning guest. Cruisers do not want excuses...they want the issue resolved and move on because we are on Vacation. This concept is Not that hard to make into a daily reality. The upsell in the spa is simply rediculous. I chose to not continue the visitation to the Spa because of the "Promotional" sell off by the staff of every item they stock. What am I going to do with $200 eye cream in Olaf, Minnesota in the winter? Shrinkage of a great Princess Cruise product is so evedent at every venue on the ship. The princess cay shuttle people are lethargic and focused on "TIPS" while we are focused on getting safely to the island beach. Be reminded that shaving pennies from every venue creates a mediocre product to the cruising guest. Princess simple does not care about the indivual experience as long as the service staff are the interface to buffer the complaints and to make tiny issues OKay. I know I am not the first Cruiser to ask why a size 30 shrimp is called a Langostino and presented as the main part of the menu item "Surf & Turf". Cutting the filet into half was so bogus from a culinary point of view it was embarassing for me and the service staff to have to explain this item as being the real deal 2 years ago. I suggest that the plating now go to small plates for the small food presentations. The bottom line for us is to remeber the great Princess times that we have had, accept the favct that the experiience is now a premium price for what is actually received for the dollar cost. We will have to go to a different cruise line to once again get that true cruising experience that we require for our time enjoying the Cruising adventure. Always best regards, brifro
