Many issues with this cruise. The cruise was scheduled for 10 nights, Boston to Maine, RI, Mass and back to Boston. While the ship is only 4 years old, the decor can best be described as basic. Luxurious, it is not. One major issue at the outset was no Wifi on board. We were told to depend on cell phones instead. Those cell phones don't work when the ship is say from land or in remote parts of Maine. The food had very limited selection and was very mediocre at best. Almost no willingness to accommodate any special meal requests. On top of all this, they began running out of food items one day after departure from Boston.

There are some included tours in addition to optional tours. On one of the optional tours, the bus driver was not contacted to pick up guests. Guests were stranded for almost an hour in damp cold weather waiting for the bus. The tour director was completely unreachable through this episode. Even after eventually returning to the ship there was absolutely no response, explanation or apology from her.

The worse issue had to do with the medical resources (or lack thereof). Rather than a doctor or trained medical professional, the ship had a "Chief Medical Officer". Apparently, he was an EMT. Essentially he was incompetent. He could not treat or provide assistance for anything. It's hard to believe the cruise line could be so irresponsible in leaving someone so unqualified to take of its guests.
