Our cruise was to honor my father who passed in 2020. My mom and the rest of my family wanted to trace the foot steps they took (mom and dad) when they visited Alaska many times. Unfortunately this was impossible because of the limping ship.

Prior to setting sail many issues arose like canceled excursions, port cancelations and more. It only got worse once we boarded and departed on our first port of call. Remind you, Princess canceled many of the ports of call due to one engine being in maintenance. Thus, we had limited time at minimal ports of call. And, more excursions being canceled.

One in particular was the salmon back at Juneau. This was my father's favorite excursion with my mom. Depending on the time of day at sea Princess either canceled it or re-established it. Well, the hour before arriving the sent a letter stating all excursions were canceled. My mom especially was bummed and so were we. After moments of anger and sadness we made arrangements for diner on the ship.

Glacier Bay

This was excellent in it's beauty. About the only part of the trip that delivered what it promised. The Park Ranger's discussion was also excellent as well....kudos.

We didn't have enough time to enjoy Juneau because our ship didn't have an engine operational. Thus, only giving us limited time ashore. Further, the establishments also complained about this particular ship of Princess Cruises for not being on time or showing up. It caused them scheduling issues with staff. This was expressed by several.

Once again, limited time on shore because of a limping ship. Even the establishments mentioned this ship in particular caused them grief.

Same comments of minimal time plus no true information on where to go. No fliers on restaurants etc. Plus, even if we wanted to have dinner here it was almost impossible due to the minimal time.

Rushed again even at our excursion to the space needle. Princess Cruises book three buses to the Needle which caused major lines to the top. Many of us gave our tickets away since it wasn't enough time to enjoy the needle. All who were a part of this excision should receive a refund. Even the excellent bus driver was extremely frustrated with what occured.
