Set cruise up in 2019 for 2020 based on our 40th anniversary, which was delayed due to covid and subsequent restrictions. We kept trip because we wanted to do this particular trip. WE were ecstatic when trip was on schedule for this year, and the count down on the Viking trip became a reality. Viking is the best and pays attention to all details. Explorer suite accommodations, excursions, meals, travel to excursions, transfers, meals, beverages, ship navigation crew/captain, Air Select, etc., and the staff that led all of these activities were incredible. Emma was outstanding as program director. Restaurant staff was incredible- Bogie, Free Willie, and Rene treated us like kings. They assisted celebrating my wife's birthday and our 42nd anniversary, very special. This cruise has set the bar for future cruises at an extremely high level. We have booked a 2023 ocean cruise, starting in Venice and concluding in Barcelona. We plan to stay two additional days on front and back ends with Viking support. We have also booked a Mississippi river cruise for 2024, starting in New Orleans and concluding in Minneapolis, much to see in our beautiful country. We obviously are sold on Viking cruise lines. They are the best.
