We chose this cruise because of the great reviews/ratings about Viking. The ratings were well deserved. The food and crew were simply amazing!

Negatives: 1. We were on the first sailing leaving the US (second sailing of the route) which resulted in finalizing the shore excursion list later than advertised.

2. Less than a week before sailing they shifted the check in to the airport vice the ship. They did allow you to check in at the ship if you were in proximity. My parents checked in at the airport...very smooth. We were nearby at a hotel and did the check in on the ship. That went very very slowly. lesson learned...if they ask you to check in at the airport...check in at the airport. Read more
