Enjoying the Rose Gardens of the Residenz
Lunch in a beer garten with friends
Returning from a tour we were greeted by many of our wonderful staff!!
Our living area in our cabin. We always had fresh flowers and a treat was left by our steward twice a day
Cruising down the Rhine
Just beautiful scenery from the top deck on a cruising day
Friends we met onboard and spent a few extra days with on a post excursion in Amsterdam
The windmills in Kinderdjik where we learned how the operators live and work
Amsterdam- what more to say? A beautiful- not to be missed city. We took a canal cruise to experience the city from the water and learn a bit more about how the waterways support and protect the city
On our canal cruise in Amsterdam
A Brewhouse in Bamberg
Nuremberg Castle. Beautiful and terrible. The historical pictures of devastation from the war was heartbreaking especially at the time we were there as we had to relate it to what was happening in Ukraine. It was a heavy day…
Beautiful little Wertheim
Peaceful day of cruising. Sighting a castle on shore
Just walking towards the lovely city of Cologne
This is the cathedral upon entering Cologne- amazingly beautiful!

We had the “River Cruise” on our list of “must dos”. The itinerary was 15 days which seemed (and was) just the right amount of time to relax and experience several very different cities. We loved the cruising experience snd cannot say enough about the Crew. From the extraordinary tour director to every last wait person or cabin steward. All were kind, caring and professional. The Value of the cruise became evident minute after minute as we saw flawless orchestration of tours, meals, entertainment and attention to all detail. We had no real idea what to expect. At first look the ship seemed small but once onboard we saw the three floors as perfect amount of room to get from one happening to the next. We were happy to have a small group and to be able to sit anywhere for each meal. We met so many interesting travelers and made friends that we know will be life long.

We cannot wait to try another Viking experience!!

Cabin Review

Absolutely perfect! Plenty of space to relax before going down for evening cocktails, the balcony was a beautiful place for morning coffee or an evening drink. The bathroom had enough shelves and counter for all of our “necessities” and the Robes were comfy. We loved having laundry service - which was top notch.
