It was reccommended by friends who had cruised with Viking. We have seen Viking's ads on the internet and liked the small ship approach to cruising with no children or other distractions. Also, liked the free tour at each port stop on the river, as well as no photo sales or casino on board. Food was very good. With the inclusion of free alcoholic beverages with our meals, additional free beverages sold as a package was not necessary, although we did purchase that package.

The pre-cruise and post-cruise packages were very good. Our tour guide who met us on arrival in Paris and stayed until the end in Zurich, was very knowlegable and extremely helpful with problem we experienced on the trip. We will certainly travel with Viking again, and have already booked our next cruise. We also recommend this cruise line to everyone we talk to. Thank you, Viking!
